CommLedge leading the phase 2 of Cloud Standards Coordination

The second phase of the Cloud Standards Coordination initiative is starting in January 2015. It is taking the form of a project coordinated by ETSI, the European Telecommunications Standards Institute, and grouping a number of experts in Cloud Computing and Standardization. The project will be led by Emmanuel Darmois and is expected to deliver its results by the end of October 2014 at the latest.

The European Commission presents the new Smart Grid Standardization

The European Conference on Smart Grid Standardization achievements, organized by the European Commission with the support of the European Standardization Organizations (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI), has taken place in Brussels on February 26, 2015. The work done was coordinated by the three European Standards Organizations (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI) and provided a global framework for guiding the Standardization work.

EU and ETSI highlight Cloud Standards Coordination results

The EU Framework for Smart Grids standardization is published

The first release of the European Framework for Smart Grids Standardization has been published by the three European Standards Organizations (CEN, CENELEC and ETSI) for the European Commission: a Reference Architecture, an Information Security framework, a methodology to handle Smart Grids Use Cases. On top of this, a first Set of Standards has been identified that will allow early implementations of Smart Grids use cases.
